White Water Rafting

Whitewater rafting is one of the most thrilling outings for our troop and a recurring activity that we partake in every year. In August, 12 scouts went rafting in the American River, taking on the rapids and beautiful scenery. They worked together as teams to row safely and explore the outdoors. Both returning scouts and those new to the activity enjoyed themselves, such as by jumping into the South Fork of the River and Folsom Lake and splashing each other with our oars. Overall, it was an exciting adventure that our troop hopes to continue doing!
