Spring Bulb Fundraiser Feb 2022

In Spring of 2022, Troop 2199 partook in a Spring Bulb Fundraiser. We partnered with an organization, Art In Nature, to provide us with bulbs to sell to neighbors. It was the perfect time to begin planting flowers and other bulbs, and we had a successful outcome.

In this fundraiser, scouts were exposed to door-to-door fundraising. We were able to practice our communication skills, practice marketing skills, and interact with others who live near us! I enjoyed this experience greatly, and it opened my eyes to this way of marketing a product. It was a new experience, and one which I was glad to be a part of!

Most of our proceeds went towards the Jyothirgamaya Foundation for blind people, and we ended up raising a good amount of money for them!
